Our Fixit home improvement projects were an update/upgrade of our master bath and our kitchen, in anticipation of putting our home at Silver Creek Valley Country Club on the market.
The Fixit-Team, Inc. was recommended to us by our realtor, Kate Davey, and we are delighted with the results!
Highlights of our experience with Fixit:
- Our first interaction was with Chuck, who provided excellent advice with regard to the scope of the project as well as design and selection of materials, including re-use vs. replacement of existing appliances, sinks, faucets, etc. Key suggestions included simplification of our original design for the marble, adding a hand shower in the master bath, re-using the laundry room sink and faucet, and putting granite on the pass-through in the family room for continuity and practicality. All of these turned out to be great improvements!
- The bid from Fixit was very competitive; throughout the project, Chuck tried to save us money where he could.
- The design and workmanship of the marble in the master bath, thanks to Alex and Jorge of Fixit, and the granite in the kitchen (Marblus Granite) was first-rate.
- We were very impressed with the flexibility of the Fixit team. Their ability and willingness to take on a myriad of challenges was much appreciated. Examples include a long-standing drainage problem in our shower, and a water pressure problem, both of which they were able to correct.
- Finally, we were extremely happy with the responsiveness of the entire Fixit team. Jane as office manager was our first point of contact. Jane is very customer-focused, and invariably patient and good-humored. She typically responded within hours if not minutes of any e-mail or phone call. Similarly, the entire Fixit team was typically able to respond on a same day basis to any callback items, which we felt were inevitable with any project of this size and complexity.
Many thanks to the entire Fixit team, and especially Chuck, Jane, Alex, Jorge and Rodolfo as well as their partner, Marblus Granite, for the “wow” factor in our master bath and kitchen, which we believe will assist us in selling our home in a tough real estate market.

We just finished remodeling a “great room” space with the Fixit Team. Everyone was very professional from the office staff to the workers and our site was picked up every day so it was safe for our kids and dog. The Fixit Team remodeled two bathrooms, kitchen and utility room. They did a very good job in a timely manner. They kept the additional debris at a minimum and cleaned up the area during the construction. This helped keep the house in order during the remodeling process. They answered our questions and did additional tasks when requested.

I wanted to take a moment and write this letter of appreciation and thank you and your company on how well you handled our difficult situation with our homeowners association. As you know we are a small association with limited funds.
